Bio Laboratories partners with A Good Thing to support local charities: Together Trust and Creative Living Centre

Bio Laboratories, a dedicated supporter and annual subscriber to A Good Thing, recently made another meaningful contribution by donating to two local charities: the Together Trust and the Creative Living Centre.

This recent contribution isn’t the first time Bio Laboratories has used A Good Thing’s platform to support local charities. Since their first donation in March 2024, they’ve supported 12 different causes, showing just how much they care about the local community and making a positive difference.

Bio Laboratories and A Good Thing: a perfect fit

As one of the UK’s leading suppliers of bespoke branded cosmetics, wellness, and healthcare products, Bio Laboratories is all about staying true to its values of sustainability and giving back. They prioritise making a difference in communities as part of their core values, recognising the importance of using their position to give back.

Bio Laboratories was introduced to A Good Thing through their British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) membership. A Good Thing’s mission, which combines sustainability with community support, resonated immediately. The partnership has flourished since then, with Bio Laboratories not only providing donations but also actively engaging with the needs of local charities.

While Bio Laboratories’ Directors and the entire team are united in supporting the company’s mission to be a force for good, it’s one team member, Sue Mannion, who makes the magic happen.

Sue oversees the entire donation process, from listing items and reviewing charity requests to coordinating collections or deliveries. Her involvement has been instrumental in making each donation possible.

In a recent collaboration with the Together Trust, fundraiser Natalie Essex described Sue as “extremely supportive in facilitating the donations.” Sue’s commitment goes beyond coordinating logistics; she puts in extra time to make sure the process is smooth and enjoyable for the charity teams.

Supporting the Together Trust

The Together Trust delivers individual care, support, and education services across the North West. They champion the rights, needs, and ambitions of care-experienced children and people with disabilities, autism, and mental health differences.

Through A Good Thing, Bio Laboratories recently donated sun lotion tubes, hand sanitisers, and other essential items to the charity. These donations have been valuable for young people in their services. For example, some items have been distributed to specialist educational facilities to help educate students on hygiene and for students using the hydrotherapy pool, while other toiletries have been distributed to those in residential services.

Natalie Essex from the Together Trust expressed her gratitude, saying, “With the generous support from companies like Bio Labs and platforms like A Good Thing, we can continue to support the ever-changing needs of the people we serve—thank you!”

Creative Living Centre: preparing winter wellness packs

Bio Laboratories also provided support to the Creative Living Centre, a mental health charity in Prestwich. With winter on the way, the Centre received toiletries from Bio Laboratories to include in their winter wellness packs, which will be distributed to individuals in need of mental health and wellbeing support.

The Creative Living Centre emphasised how these winter wellness packs provide essential hygiene items and much-needed comfort during the challenging winter months. By distributing these packs, the Centre offers warmth and support, helping individuals feel cared for during difficult times.

With the continued support of businesses like Bio Laboratories, A Good Thing bridges the gap between local businesses and charities, creating lasting partnerships that benefit both communities and the environment.
