East Lothian’s Forge and Equip CIC is looking for laptops, a printer, safety equipment, tools, and materials

The Charity:

Forge and Equip CIC provide supportive training opportunities in Prestonpans, East Lothian, to people distant from the labour market. The CIC supports skills development in those who face barriers to working, such as those with low formal educational attainment, a criminal record, or past addiction struggles.

Its trainees learn to put their skills to the market, producing bespoke, sustainable items that are then sold online and in local markets – in the process raising funds for the project to continue.

The Project:

Forge & Equip CIC is looking for a number of items essential to providing the training that underlies the mission of the project.

The Ask:

  • Laptops

  • Printer

  • Hard hats, safety goggles, ear defenders, welding gloves, hi-vis vests, work boots

  • Hand tools and power tools

  • Metal

  • Wood

Can you help?

Are you a business based around the Edinburgh area that might be able to help Forge & Equip with its request? The CIC and its trainees would be thrilled!

Please complete the short form below if you think you might be able to help.

Thank you so much in advance!
