Gardening equipment needed for an amazing charity growing great things in Southwark

A successful community charity based in London is in need of gardening equipment and items to maintain their highly successful food-growing programmes.

The Charity:

Edible Rotherhithe is a community food-growing, gardening and arts charity based in Southwark, London. They work with local schools, educational facilities and community centres to offer food-growing projects, gardening sessions and craft workshops for children and parents.

The Project:

The charity demonstrates how gardening and food-growing can promote a greater awareness of where food comes from and healthy eating. Through a series of workshops and after-school clubs, their hands-on sessions promote practical education outside the classroom which is accessible to all ages.

The ask:

Any spare gardening equipment including tools, compost, seeds, plants and pots.

Can you help?

Do you have any unused gardening equipment that you would be able to donate?

If you do, the charity will be thrilled!

Please go to www.agoodthing.org.uk and click on ‘Sign up’. It takes 30 seconds to register with us, and you can then post the item(s) you’re offering. Thank you so much in advance!
