Headway Southampton is in need of games and activities, office chairs, and cleaning supplies

The Charity:

A local charity based in Totton, Headway Southampton offers support, advice, and rehabilitation services to adults with an acquired brain injury.

Working across Southampton, New Forest, Eastleigh, Winchester, Romsey, and Salisbury, the charity’s mission is to improve the lives and promote the independence of local brain injury survivors.

The Project:

Headway Southampton provides music, cooking, and IT classes, alongside opportunities for badminton and tennis, horse riding, sailing, and many more activities for its service users. These activities help individuals to thrive in life following Acquired or Traumatic Brain Injury, with the team also designing tailored activities for each individual that they support. Headway Southampton’s Day Centre in Totton is the hub of this work.

The ask:

The project currently has a shortage of:

  • Games and activities for the Day Centre

  • Office chairs for staff

  • Cleaning supplies for the Day Centre
