Newcastle Community Asset Trust needs items for a men’s mental health peer support group

The Charity:

Located in the west of the city, the Newcastle Community Asset Trust is based across three community centres and envisions for public buildings and land to play a significant part in promoting, supporting, and sustaining social and economic regeneration in the North East.

The Project:

The Newcastle Community Asset Trust is in the process of launching a men’s mental health peer support group.

With a community garden and men’s shed, alongside providing the opportunity to create new products from recycled/upcycled items, the support group aims to give men a focus during time with their peers.

The Ask:

The trust is looking for any items that can support this project – those suitable for a community garden and men’s shed, as well as items that can be recycled or upcycled.
