Office furniture needed in Walthamstow as charity moves back to the office in the new year
An amazing charity that tackles loneliness and fosters stronger communities through joyful intergenerational experiences across the UK is in need of furniture as they make the move back into an office.
The Charity:
The Together Project (charitable incorporated organisation, or CIO) is on a mission to create joyful intergenerational experiences across the UK to boost wellbeing, reduce loneliness and foster stronger, happier communities.
The Project:
The Together Project delivers uplifting, transformative programmes for people in local communities right across the UK, including:
Songs & Smiles: a music and social group for 0-4-year-olds, their parents/guardians and older adults, which are held in care homes and community spaces.
Crafting Connections: an arts and craft exchange, partnering children with care home residents to form long-term friendships through the post.
We Are Friends: connecting older and younger people throughout local communities through the power of storytelling.
At the start of the pandemic in 2020, the CIO gave up its leased office space in order to secure its future. Now, as restrictions have been lifted, the charity is looking forward to returning to an office to restart the collaborative work that is vital to their life-changing programmes. The office space will enable the team to store equipment, deliver volunteer training, develop new programmes and manage the huge amount of post it receives through its Crafting Connections project.
The ask:
Office furniture to fill the new empty office! Including:
Desks.
Office chairs.
Meeting table.
Storage cabinets.
