Refugee Action Kingston needs donations of clothing, bags, technology items, and meeting room furniture

The Charity: 

Refugee Action Kingston has been supporting refugees of all backgrounds living in Kingston upon Thames and the surrounding boroughs since 1991.

Based on values of empathy, enterprise, and empowerment, Refugee Action Kingston offers advice and advocacy, education and employment support, and counselling and well-being services to asylum seekers and refugees in the community.

The Project:

To continue its work supporting those seeking asylum who have arrived with nothing – including money for essential items – Refugee Action Kingston is in need of various items. The charity has also recently acquired a new office space, and is looking to equip the meeting room with furniture.

The Ask:

• Clothing, including new underwear, socks, and trainers

• Rucksacks and suitcases

• Phones, laptops, and tablets

• Meeting room furniture, such as tables and chairs to seat 20 people
