Shropshire Community Radio needs support to find specialist equipment, can you help?
A community-focused radio station that provides a free-to-air service to bring Shropshire’s businesses, charities and community groups together, is on the hunt for specialist equipment to support its new outreach project.
The Charity:
INTune Radio CIC is the only independent community radio station in Shropshire. It features interviews with inspiring local people and showcases local bands alongside international artists to create a dynamic mix of beats and discussion. The radio shows are produced by the people of Shropshire, a team of over 30 volunteers with (amazingly) little previous radio broadcasting experience.
The Project:
INTune Radio is embarking on an ambitious new outreach project! It aims to tour Shropshire’s 25 known settlements, to give local people across this vast rural county the opportunity to get involved with their community radio station.
Starting in Shrewsbury, the station plans to host a series of drop-in sessions for local businesses, charities and members of the public, which will be recorded and broadcast.
To enable the outreach project to happen, the radio station needs several pieces of specialist equipment.
The ask:
A digital mixing console – with at least 4 mic inputs
Microphones
Microphone shock mount
Microphone boom arm
Microphone processor
Professional headphones
