The National Animal Welfare Trust (NAWT) is in need of PCs and Laptops to keep up with animal admin!

The National Animal Welfare Trust is one of the UK’s top animal welfare charities, operating five rehoming centres across southern England. The Trust takes in around 1200 unwanted animals per year and relies on a network of fantastic volunteers, active in their local communities all year round.

The charity:

The National Animal Welfare Trust (NAWT) was founded in 1971. The focus of its network of volunteers, that has grown with its expansion across the south of England across the past 50 years, has been on undertaking local animal rescue and welfare work, and on fundraising to support the work of the Trust.

The project:

This year is an exciting but crucial one for NAWT Bedfordshire as they undertake a project to rebuild the centre. This work is vital to their future as their facilities were beyond repair and no longer fit for purpose. With an average of 230 animals arriving each year, the community relies on this busy centre, with animals coming and going each week.

The animals need taking care of, but the volunteer team is expanding as more and more furry friends come in; this charity needs tech to keep up with the animal admin!

The ask:

For the animals:

  • Green veggies e.g. spinach, kale, broccoli

  • Tinned hotdogs

For the volunteers:

  • Laptops

  • Desktops

Can you help?

Do you have any food items as listed above that could make some rabbits or dogs really happy?

Do you have spare laptops that could save lots of time for the volunteers?

The charity would be so excited to receive any or all of the above!

Please complete the short form below if you think you might be able to provide items to NAWT.

Thank you so much in advance!
