The Nelson Trust needs computer equipment, medical room supplies, and soft furniture

The Charity:

Operating seven women’s centres across Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Bristol, and Wales - with plans to open two more in 2024 - The Nelson Trust annually assists over 4,000 women.

The Nelson Trust challenges intergenerational trauma, domestic abuse, homelessness, poverty, and mental health issues to reach marginalised women and offer safe spaces with amenities such as an onsite creche and weekly lunch clubs.

The Project:

Computer equipment is currently needed by the Bristol Women Centre, to form an IT suite that will be used by women with complex needs to access the Internet.

The Nelson Trust needs medical room supplies for its approved room where clients can meet a registered sexual health nurse and medical professional.

Soft furniture, such as sofas and blankets, are also needed to maintain a cosy, safe space for women to discuss their trauma.

The Ask:

  • Computers equipment, including PCs, monitors, mice, and keyboards

  • Medical room supplies, including a medical table, adjustable stool, masks, and gloves

  • Soft furniture, including sofas, bean bags, and blankets
