A wonderful Portsmouth children’s charity needs your help

The Elizabeth Foundation in Portsmouth is seeking donations of stationery, including black pens, notepads and paper. Also any new toiletries, and new children’s toys and games. Vouchers for family days out would also be wonderful!

For 40 years The Elizabeth Foundation charity has been doing wonderful work supporting deaf children and their families: it provides education and welfare services to children from just a few weeks old to age 5.

Around 40% of these children also have additional needs: cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome or complex disabilities. Every child receives classroom-style lessons as well as intensive speech therapy and music therapy.

Donated resources are used in the family centre to support every aspect of education and welfare: from arts and crafts to literacy, personal hygiene and play! Items may also be given to families living in poverty.

Do you work for a Hampshire business that might be able to help? Does your firm have any of the following to give away to The Elizabeth Foundation?

black pens

notepads/paper

new toiletries

new children’s toys and games

vouchers for family days out

If you do, the charity will be thrilled! Please go to www.agoodthing.org.uk and click on ‘Sign up’. It takes 30 seconds to register with us, and you can then post the item(s) you’re offering. Thank you so much in advance!
