West Essex charity working with vulnerable people is seeking laptops and phones

The Council for Voluntary Service Uttlesford has launched a digital inclusion project in West Essex and is seeking laptops, tablets and smartphones.

This exciting new two-year project will support vulnerable individuals and families impacted by the pandemic through loss of income, illness and the need to self-isolate. Also those who have limited or no access to digital devices, and are unable to access employment support, skills for life, online shopping, banking, or health interventions and appointments.

The project has a particular emphasis on providing tailored support to people experiencing poor mental health, as well as and those from minority ethnic communities.

Do you work for an Essex business that might be able to help? Do you have laptops, smartphones or tablets that you might be able to donate?

If you do, the charity will be thrilled! Please go to www.agoodthing.org.uk and click on ‘Sign up’. It takes 30 seconds to register with us, and you can then post the item(s) you’re offering. Thank you so much in advance!
