Plymouth’s Borrow Don’t Buy CIC needs laptops, tablets, and phones for digital inclusion project

The Charity:

Borrow Don’t Buy CIC is Plymouth’s Library of Things. Providing access to in-demand items – such as tools, kitchen equipment, camping gear, and party items – at affordable prices, Borrow Don’t Buy saves people money while encouraging the community to contribute to a circular economy.

The Project:

Alongside its Library of Things, the Plymouth-based CIC runs a digital inclusion project. Get Everyone Online (GEO) aims for every household to have at least one device to be able to access the Internet, by refurbishing donated devices and then distributing them to those in need.

The Ask:

Borrow Don’t Buy is in need of the following, unlocked items:

  • Laptops

  • Tablets

  • Phones

Can you help?

Are you a business based in the Plymouth area that might be able to help Borrow Don’t Buy with its request? The CIC and beneficiaries of the Get Everyone Online project would be thrilled!

To be more financially self-sufficient and keep the GEO project running, Borrow Don’t Buy also re-sells devices that are of higher value. If your business has devices that are worth a bit more and no longer needed, Borrow Don’t Buy CIC would love to hear from you.

Please complete the short form below if you think you might be able to help.

Thank you so much in advance!
