Disability Support for Nottingham and County needs laptops, mobile phones, food items, and hand sanitising stations

The Charity:

Disability Support hosts social groups and peer mentoring from its base in Old Basford Community Centre, Nottingham.

A hub for disabled people, carers, and the elderly – and run by those with either a disability or long-term health condition – Disability Support also promotes self-advocacy, assisting with benefit applications, entitlement checks, and appeals.

The Project:

Disability Support is looking to expand the reach of its work, give out emergency food packages to those in need, and continue providing a welcoming space for its social groups and peer mentoring sessions.

The Ask:

  • Laptops

  • Mobile phones

  • Tinned and packet goods for emergency food supplies

  • Tea, coffee, and sugar for social groups

  • 2 hand sanitising stations
