Frampton On Severn Community Association needs a portable library book display trolley
The Charity:
The Frampton On Severn Community Association is a hub for the local community in the Severnside area.
Its Cadbury Hall community centre is used by old and young alike, with older residents using the space for weekly lunches and twice-weekly bingo sessions, and younger residents carrying out their Brownies group and indoor tennis coaching in the hall.
The Project:
Based in a rural village, the Frampton On Severn Community Association has no public transport to the nearest library, making it difficult for those with limited mobility or low incomes to access a public library service. In conjunction with the Gloucestershire library service, the Association is therefore trial-running a mini-library at the community centre – with a rotation selection of ~50 books for local residents to read.
