Solihull Conservation Volunteers needs gardening tools and PPE, including work boots, his-vis and heavy-duty jackets, and trousers

The Charity:

Solihull Conservation Volunteers is a small group of volunteers that are able to carry out conservation tasks from habitat creation – woodland management, hedge-laying, and meadow-cutting – to access improvement, such as path-laying and sleeper bridge construction.

Its volunteers put in a total of over 1500 hours a year, working on more than 15 sites in the Solihull area for the benefit of the local community.

The Project:

Solihull Conservation Volunteers is looking for items that will enable the group to continue its work increasing the diversity of wildlife and improving the appearance of public spaces, so that they can be valued and enjoyed by the local community.

The Ask:

  • Gardening, woodland, and meadow management tools

  • PPE – work boots with steel toecaps (especially small sizes), hi-vis and heavy-duty, yellow waterproof jackets and trousers
