Multi award-winning children’s charity in Peterborough is in need of laptops and iPads following a devastating burglary
On the evening of 13 March, Little Miracles’ head office in Peterborough fell foul of a devastating burglary which caused a huge amount of damage and resulted in the theft of laptops, iPads and games consoles used by the centre’s staff and beneficiaries. They're urgently in need of replacement items to help them get back on their feet.
The Charity:
Little Miracles is an award-winning registered charity that supports families with children and young adults who have additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting conditions. The charity provides families and carers with a non-judgmental environment, using a holistic approach to support the needs of the whole family. It specialises in providing advice, guidance, support, activities, training and safe places to any family that has a child with an additional need, disability or life-limiting condition.
The Project:
Despite the heartbreak and disruption caused, the charity is determined to bounce back. Following a clear-up, the centre has reopened and Little Miracles is now seeking to replace some of the valuable items which have been lost. Electronic devices such as iPads are a crucial means of communication for some of the non-verbal children who access the centre.
The ask:
Computers/laptops
