Volunteers running a well-loved therapy garden at an MS charity in Bristol are in need of new gardening and landscaping tools. The maintenance and upkeep of the garden is a key part of a plan to encourage local schools and other charities to make use of this fantastic space
The Charity:
The West of England MS Therapy Centre is part of the Multiple Sclerosis National Therapy Centres, which works with local MS charities to improve the quality of life for all those people affected by multiple sclerosis. It supports member Centres in the provision of accessible, high-quality, frontline therapeutic care and other services to those with MS and their carers.
Since 1985, the West of England MS Therapy Centre in Bradley Stoke has been helping people who live with a neurological condition. The charity provides therapies to support its members to maintain independence, it delivers therapies that minimise the effects that neurological conditions like multiple sclerosis can have on daily life. It builds a strong sense of community and understanding by providing support for families and carers.
The Project:
The West of England MS Therapy Centre is developing its well-loved, volunteer-run therapy garden to encourage other local charities and schools to make use of this relaxing communal space.
