Can you help a brilliant Reading charity working with marginalised women and children?

The Reading Community Learning Centre is in need of classroom equipment like whiteboards, projectors and smartboards. Also items for its creche: small tables and chairs, as well as toys, games or books. Can you help?

The charity supports mainly migrant and refugee women with little or no English. Each year, around 300 marginalised women from black, Asian or minority ethnic backgrounds engage with the centre to improve their English, build their confidence, learn IT skills, build relationships, volunteer locally and gain qualifications, among other things.

Can your firm help the centre to continue its wonderful work with these women and their children, many of whom are experiencing really tough times? Do you have any of the following to give away to the charity?

  • a whiteboard

  • a projector

  • a smartboard

  • children’s tables and chairs

  • toys, games or books

If you do, the charity will be thrilled! Please go to www.agoodthing.org.uk and click on ‘Sign up’. It takes 30 seconds to register with us, and you can then post the item(s) you’re offering. Thank you so much in advance!
