Hertfordshire hospice seeks warehouse equipment and charity-shop donations

“We will never stop caring, but we need your help now more than ever”

The charity:

Isabel Hospice in Welwyn Garden City is a registered charity, founded in 1988: after Isabel Last was diagnosed with cancer, she realised there was a need to support patients and their families within the local community who were suffering with cancer and other life-threatening conditions. The charity provides free palliative care and support for patients who have been diagnosed with life-limiting illnesses such as cancer, heart failure or respiratory illness – and support for their families too.

Isabel Hospice ensures that its treatment and care for patients is free. It enables patients to live pain- and symptom-free, being cared for in their place of choice.

The project:

Isabel Hospice charity shops across Hertfordshire are seeking donations of clothing and homewares, and are also in need of shop and warehouse equipment such as clothing rails.

“Your pre-loved goods will help raise much-needed money, and every penny goes towards vital hospice care in the community.”

Every donation – whether small or big – will make a significant difference to the quality of care and treatment received by patients.

The ask:

  • Shop/warehouse equipment (plastic crates, tubs, metal cages, shelf racking and clothing rails).

  • Shoes and clothing (jeans, tops, T-shirts, jumpers, coats and dresses).

  • Homewares (for example, ornaments).

Can you help?

Are you a business in Hertfordshire that might have clothing, homewares or shop equipment you could donate? Isabel Hospice would be thrilled!
