The Greave House Farm Trust, a care farm based near Sheffield is in need of pet bedding

The charity:

The Greave House Farm Trust, a care farm based in Stocksbridge, outside Sheffield, has been offering a safe, welcoming environment and confidence-building experiences for vulnerable individuals with learning disabilities for over 14 years.

The farm’s mission is to provide participants with both a sense of community, and an understanding of the physical and mental benefits of living a sustainable and low-impact lifestyle.

To achieve its mission, the Greave House Farm Trust offers educational and therapeutic activities that include gardening, harvesting food and animal care. From beekeeping to growing organic food, a range of skills can be nourished and all abilities are welcome. Through its projects, the farm can also then provide home-grown produce for the local community through its fantastic organic veg boxes.

The project:

The Greave House Farm Trust is dedicated to promoting sustainability in these projects through recycling. Donated equipment is essential to helping them achieve this, and also allows more volunteers to get involved in the fun.

The ask:

For volunteers:

  • Building and gardening materials

  • Outdoor clothing

For the farm animals:

  • Pet bedding

Can you help?

Do you have any gardening materials and equipment, such as work boots, that can be spared? Can you offer any spare bedding material for livestock on the farm?

If so, the farm would love to hear from you! Please complete the form below if you think you would be able to help the Greave House Farm Trust.

Thank you so much in advance!
