YMCA London City and North is on a mission to create an inviting canteen space, and is in need of tables and chairs

YMCA London is a large charity which specialises in supporting young homeless people. It is currently looking to improve its canteen space and is in need of more suitable tables and chairs.

The Charity:

YMCA London City and North brings together two established London YMCAs. With over 150 years of experience, together the charity works with local young people and engages with those who are hardest to reach by creating a secure setting.

With a specialism in youth homelessness, YMCA London has 400 bed spaces including move-on accommodation. It offers an extensive programme of interventions that support a young person’s physical and mental wellbeing, and their transition to independence.

The Project:

The YMCA’s current canteen set-up needs to be revised to allow the young residents to sit and dine in comfort when taking breakfast, lunch and dinner. The charity wants to create an inclusive and inviting space that will encourage residents to socialise with one another over meals.

The ask:

  • Dining tables and stackable chairs
